  • i want stop my this poilcy i need my cash back what i do pls. help

    • Jeevan Arogya policy does not have any surrender value and hence there is no option to close the policy and get money back.

  • how good is this to cover person 1:age 33; person 2: age 24; person 3: age 55 for medical benifits

    • Can you make your query a little more clear? Please use this calculator to get the benefits available if people with mentioned age takes a Jevan arogya policy.

  • KITNE SAALO KE BAAD PREMIUM INCREASE HOTA HAI….PLZ REPLY

    • Normally premium will not increase with time. But there is a provision to revise the premium every 3 years. But it need not be an increase it can be a decrease also.

  • There has been a lot of claim denials citing flimsy reasons because of which many of my friends including myself are planning to discontinue with this insurance. Any comments?

    • Nobody can reject any claim citing flimsy reasons as you mentioned. Which claim was rejected? Rules of Jeevan Arogya is clear and the claim has to be paid based on that. If you have any dispute in the claim decision you can go for an appeal and raise your point if any. I cannot comment without more details. If you want any clarifications you can ask.

  • Sir Maine LIC ki jeevan Arogya ki 904 policy 2 person cover, 1.5 saal take premium pay kiya hai, mere age 32 hai…. Ise mere hone wale bacha cover nahi hai to aur policy premium Bhaut hai…… To policy continue karu koi aur option par jau (ex Star health insurance)….. Please replay

    • Hi Swapnil,
You can add your new child to the Jeevan Arogya plan once he is 3 months old. What else you want to know?

  • Is this policy gives lumpsum amount on maturity in case there is no claim, in short is it endowment policy?

    • Nothing is payable at the time of maturity. And there is no maturity date for this plan.

  • Is this policy endowment plan? Means will it give me my amount on maturity in case of no claim at all?

    • Jeevan Arogya is not an endowment type plan. Nothing is payable on maturity or if there is no claim

  • Will CGHS beneficiary benefit by adding arogya policy to cover left out expenses from cghs

    • What I understood from your query is that you are already having a CGHS scheme and you want to know whether paying some amount in Jeevan Arogya plan can cover the additional rebate available in 80D. Yes, that is possible. Amount paid in Jeevan Arogya will get added to the amount already paid in CGHS.

  • Can LIC’s JEEVAN AROGYA be purchased online ?

    • Jeevan Arogya is not available for online sale..

  • Congratulations for undertaking such a commendable job of preparing this handy app.
On the Jeevan Arogya policy, let me make my immediate comments.

1.I disagree with your description of JA as a floater policy. Here every insured person has separate sum insured.
2.Regarding the increase in HCB, let me clarify as under.
    a. Increase in IDHCB @5% is automatic and goes upto 50% on arithmetic progression in such a way that HCB becomes 150%.
    b. Second one is on account of claim free years. For every block of 3 claim free years, there is an addition of 5% called no claim benefit. There is no limit to this addition.

    • Thank you sir… for notifying… Shall try to update…

  • Principle insured should be described as ” Principal Insured”.

  • Hi .meri mom ka cataract ka opration karwana hai to mujhe is policy me cashlesh mile ga ya mujhe payment karna hoga pl. Reply me

    • The cashless option is not available in the Jeevan Arogya plan. you will have to pay the amount and claim the amount later.

  • My wife has undergone a surgery and was admitted in ICU for 7 days.being a policy holder in Jeevan arogya with hcb of rs 2000 since the last 6 years , what are the benefits she is eligible for .

    • I cannot give you the exact benefits but I can give you an Idea on what all could be the benefits. Every year there is an automatic increase in the Hospital cash benefit at the rate of 5%. So your applicable HCB could be 2500 if six years are already completed. When getting admitted for a surgery major surgical benefit will be available if the surgery comes in the list of major surgeries. If it qualifies as a major surgery the major surgical benefit the benefit could anywhere between 20% to 100 % of the Applicable msg (which is 100 x applicable hcb). In our case let us assume it as 250000). So the total benefit could include MSB + HCB for 7 days. For staying in ICU the HCB will be double.
Exact amount will be decided by the TPA handling the claims.

  • Sir, Iam a govt employee and i have EHS This is cash less .If i purchase LIC Arogya policy can i claim benifit apartfrom using my govt scheme .

    • The benefits of Jeevan Arogya is independent of the benefits of EHS. You can claim the benefits from both these schemes simultaneously.

  • Sir major surgery like heart block it is effect from purchase date or after two years

    • There is no waiting period for heart surgeries in Jeevan Arogya.

  • Sir I bought this policy on july 22nd of 2020 and had a heart attack on 30th sep. I was admitted in ICU for 5 days. Can i claim the expenditures now or how many days should i wait? Waiting period is from date of hospitalisation or from the date of buying the policy . Please let me know soon. Thank you .

    • The general waiting period of the policy is 90 days from the date of commencement of the policy. so you can claim the expenses as it happened after 90 days. The waiting period gets applicable from the date of commencement(buying) of the policy.

  • Sir, Is there any waiting period in this policy. Example:- if anyone purchase this policy and within a month he went for kidney stones surgery, can this policy cover this surgery? Stone problem arrived suddenly.

    • Yes, The minimum general waiting period of the policy will be 90 days from the date of commencement of the policy. Within this period only claims arising due to accident shall become payable. Then the specific waiting period of 2 years will become applicable for 16 diseases which includes kidney stones. So the policy will not cover it for 2 years.

  • Can I increase dcb say from 1000 to 2000, in a running policy.

    • NO, it is not possible. But there is an automatic increase of HCB at the rate of 5% per annum and will be applied automatically for your policy.

  • Hi,
    Nice information about policy.
If I take policy premium term of 25 years and lets say I am paying premium of 20,000 Rs per year.
What will be the amount I get at the end of 25 year on closure.

    Thanks
    Rahul

    • For Jeevan Arogya plan, there is no maturity benefit. So nothing is payable as maturity. And there is no concept like term of 25 years. As long as you pay the premium, coverage will be available to you/your family.

  • Hi
My father is taken this policy and paid premium from last 4 years . Please tell me this policy covers day care or routine check up for my father

    • Jeevan Arogya policy does not cover routine checkups. The coverage available includes 1. Daily cash benefit for hospitalization 2.Major surgical benefit 3. Day care procedure 4. Other surgical benefit.

  • What is the PPT in 904 plan

    • Jeevan Arogya plan can be continued till the age of 75 years of age of the policyholder. So the PPT will be the period till the policy holder attains 75 years of age.
